Join Spandexpert Mr. Gorgeous as he demonstrates the tips and tricks he’s used over the years to bring stage costumes to the next level without breaking the bank. You’ll see how he’s used stretch fabrics to create pieces worn on Broadway stages & by burlesque stars and nightlife performers from all over the world. This course will cover the 101’s of stretch fabrics, how to manipulate them, embellishments and care. You’ll understand how to install snap tape, zippers and alter pre made stretch garments for burlesque or cabaret. A section of this course will also address costume safety and durability for circus and burlesque performers who work heavily with props or aerial equipment. Lastly Gorgeous will talk you through a step by step demonstration on how to customize and cover a bra. A technique which can be applied to various costume components and props
